You may be able to get a restore set from the computer manufacturer. Some actually put the installation on a seperate partion on your harddrive (like drive D)

You can also just borrow the CD from anyone and use it with your keycode to reinstall. It will need to be the same version (home edition) to work.

You can download the Windows Home edition and install it. However, it will only run for 30 days. All you need to do is add your product key and it is good forever again.

Any copy of original xp with the original product key will not work, it will work only if a product key is pirate and the xp is pirate too. ( Any copy of xp is pirate )

you can run the make cd program on the computer and it will make a valid copy of xphome
but it will ONLY install on the same computer and not any other due to HAL and activation.
