Hi, I've come across a problem on a new computer. Internet Explorer is not properly displaying links (ie, they're too big and they don't all fit on the same window, some aren't displayed, and color borders aren't displayed). It makes it very hard to logically go through a page without getting confused. Does this have anything to do with Java? I know it's running Sun Java. Could Norton 360 antivirus be blocking full java access, or something like this? But I think it has something to do with the settings, but I already spent an hour looking for a solution to no avail.

I hosted a screen shot picture of what my problem looks like when I go to Yahoo.com. Can anyone help? Thanks. Here's the link:

ok, so it's java, but I know it has nothing to do with upgrading. I personally never upgraded Internet Explorer on my other computer, and it works better.

If you have a wheel on your mouse, try holding the CTRL buton down on your keyboard and rolling your mouse wheel back toward you and see if the IE print doesn't get smaller.

It sounds like your screen resolution is not set right, try checking your settings on that. Then if that doesn't work, try resetting IE. again. or go to your tools in your IE tool bar and click on properties. and go to the advance and reset Ie there. you may have to reinstall the winsock if you have XP.. if it is vista, then you just need to reset it. or go to ie at the top of the start menu, and right click it, and go to properties.and make sure that you run it in administrator mode. also, if you are running Vista and you are also running Norton. you could be experiencing a conflict, same with Java, make sure the programs that you download are vista compatible. if not it will cause things like this to happen, and you would need to unistall which ever program you did that caused the conflict..
good luck! if your computer is new, then you should be under warranty, if so, call your computer manufacturer for help from one of their techs.

yes it is something to do with Java ASP and all kind of things, By looking at the picture attached, i can say that the web pages are displayed in Basic HTML layout which means nothing that includes advanced graphics will be displayed... try to upgrade your IE to a newer version... Like upgrade to Internet Explorer 7, or try Mozilla firefox....

You can also try to restore the default settings if your Internet Explorer by going to Tools - Internet Options - Advanced - Restore defaults....

let me know if nothing works..
All the best...
