If you still have the 2000 microsoft office Cd's, then what I woul do is uninstall microsoft office 2003 and reinstall micro. 2000. you can do that in the add and remove programs in your control; panel. if you don;t have the cd's then you should be able to go to microsoft.com and reinstall them from there if you have those product keys. for that year. or buy a product key from microsoft. or get the one from who ever installed it recently. That is all you can do. unless your hard drive still is holdng the files from before, but if it was formatted depending on your partition. you could get it back in your programs restore. otherwise you won't beable to unless you do one of the above. Good Luck!

The only thing I can suggest is to download the free Office Suite that I got, that will open certain files & things that Power Point Viewer won't, & allow me to watch slide shows done in power point, but I can't watch it with the viewer. It's called " OpenOffice 2.1". I,m impressed with it, but I am no expert on Office either. Did I say it's free ? It is !!

I would contact the company that you took or sent your computer to have it repaired and tell them the problem so they can give you the new product keys, or take it back and fix it for you.
