Software - March 2007

I click on ctrl,alt,delete,then I end task to whatever is on my taskbar.Only have a few not many at all open on my task bar.Any other ways to make room for recourses.

How many Plan To Keep Windows XP And How Many Plan To Upgrade To Windows Vista? With all the problems with Windows Vista I'm sticking with XP! Windows Vista has way too many issues and bugs in it. Already there's a federal agency that refuses to upgrade to Windows Vista. If you plan to upgrade to Vista my advice is to wait a few years and let Microsoft get the bugs out of it.

i get "error finding operating system"

it was working fine up until i deleteted that...i now can only acess the bios...

help or direction to a help site or forum would be very appreciated...

oh, and do you think i would have to resort to buying a new hard drive and reinstalling everything all over again?

Is there a way to stop the Allow or Cancel in Vista without disabling it completly with programs I open all the time?

OK....so my computer broke & when I had it fixed I had to re-install Windows Media play, now I ave the new version where the pictures of the album come up on the side. How do I get it back to basic where it just lists the name of the artist and songs!?! Please help!

I have had MANY failed attempts on finding an adquate anti-virus software. I've been met with viruses 'dressed-up' as anti-virus programs and had a lot of trouble deleting them. I am a success story of the X86 project (installed on external drive) and took on installing ubuntu on my old hdd (also external) and loaded. I cant boot from my bios so I use grub (for currently booting with windows and mac) I cant seem to find the right code for grub to boot with Ubuntu Linux. Can any one tell me the correct code to boot the kernel or how to boot from my bios? Thanks
