and yes i have flash player 10 and macromedia still unknown file format i have xp home

Go to www.download.com. Do a search for "Swiff Player". On the right of the results page, click "download now". Save the setup file to your PC, and install it when you have it. It will make the file association for you, so all you'll have to do is double-click the files to play them.

right click any SWF file you have and choose "Open With..." then, click on "Choose Program..."

look for your flash player 10 and dont forget to PUT A CHECK on "Always use the selected program to open this kind of file" then click OK. this will automatically associate SWF files with your flash player and will enable you to "just click the file and play them"

you may have it but it is not associated with that extention,

right click the file->open with...

a window will appear asking if what program are you going to use, choose shockWaveFlash player, or any of your latest swf player

you need to download the ShockWavePlayer and install it...you can usually play it from Internet explorer. open the file using IE....
