Software - March 2007

I'm currently on XP. I have two drives and I'd like to reformat one of them and load Vista on both. Whats the best way to do it without losing my data.

I saved all the data onto my second drive. I plan to remove the second drive, format the first with Vista and plug in the second drive (which is still on XP) back. Would that work, is there a better way ? Thanks

I have Windows and Microsoft Xp. I think I might have accidently deleted the program that makes the sound work on my computer. What should I do? Also, when I go to Control Panel and go to Sounds and Audio Devices, it says there is no audio device.

Hi there.

I sell software digitally, but the problem is..... I have to send out my software manually via email, after I recieve a payment by paypal.

Is there any way, I could do this automatically? i.e, as soon as the software is purchased via email, the buyer is emailed a link to download my software?

The game is triple play 2001.
I know it is an old game but it should still work.
When i go to play it is says: An error is being created. You have to restart the program.
And then i do and the same thing keeps happening.

i downloaded video clips in the limewire and transfer the clips into another computer by means of flashdisk...when i attempt to open one, it does not open to media player suppose to be....instead it open adobe photoshop....and my computer begun to hung-up, and now even i just have a right click in the desktop to refresh it appeared nothing...and i cant open also my anti-virus program and also the task manager. Im afraid to restart because it might not promt to windows again.....but im wondering, it did not affect the "elevator monitoring program" that is currently running now..is this an attack of virus? im afraid also to terminate the said program because maybe it will not load again...i am a technical staff in our company...pls. help me....what should be my first move to restore the pc without affecting any program or file...

windows xp has downloaded genuine advantage notification tool which has not yet been installed. Now when i start my pc, an icon appears in taskbar saying" updates are ready, click to install". I don't want to install this update. I want to delete it before it get installed accidentally.
