I have used & purchased music from iTunes for 3 years but I am afraid I can not access my purchased music any longer. Here is the scenario: I copied the MyMusic fiolder from my C: drive to an external hard drive, now the G: drive because I had maxed out my C: with all the tunes. This was a problem for iTunes and I simply wanted to reinstall the program ( which I have done before with no problems ). This time the uninstall of iTunes could not be completed because QuickTime 7.1.3 could not uninstall properly. I received a Fatal Error message saying QuickTime either couldn't initialize a plug-in properly or that it was being used by another program. I have searched TONS of boards and know that TONS of people have not been able to uninstall QuickTime 7.1.3 from Windows XP. Of course Apple has a fix for this if you have a Mac but nothing for Windows. All my other songs can be transferred to WinAmp but how can I rescue my purchased music. It will not transfer, copy, etc. I am VERY frustrate

I always make amv's with windows movie maker but now i want to use it and anytime i import a video it says "file cannot be imported because the codec required to play the file is not installed on your computer. If you have already tried to download and install the codec, close and restart Windows Movie Maker, and then try to import the file again." i installed DivX and xvid but what am i suppose to do after i install it because it still dont work and i still cant import anything what am i suppose to do after i install it????I'm trying to use wmv files and my computer is windows xp.

need to recover my pc, and i have my dads xp pro disk, if it were the copy of it wasnt already used on my dads laptop i will just load it on, but i cant :(, so im wondering if i can just pop it in and restart and just get a fresh start

ok, well my i reinstalled windows xp on my comp, but its missing the drivers and my sound or printer dont work, along with other issues like the screen looks enlarged.

my question is, if i download and instal ubuntu linux, will this be fixed?? will my sound work??? will the screen look normal and not huge??? and overall is it a reliable os?? you know, are viruses and issue or does it crash alot or you know, is it good basically???

Hi,

Whenever i downloaded something from Limewire, it will also appeared in my C drive which is shared in my company network. Is there any way to disable it? I do not want to share with my company network. Is there any way not to let the administrator know that I am using Limwire to download stuffs?

I decided to get a new PC even though my Sony Vaio is only 1.5 yrs old bec it's so slow & keeps getting hung up... perhaps beyond repair or because my kids use it, so I want my own PC.

Anyway, PC shopping I discover there's a new OS, so at first I think, Cool.

I created an order with Gateway that has Vista as the OS for a computer that will be ready by March 20th.

Anyway, I picked up PC World magazine where it indicated the Gateway FX530XT was the best of the new desktops, which I bought! I was so happy until I read the articles re: negatives on incompatibility w/drivers & software problems & that "first generation Vista desktops lack some of the components that take advantage of the interesting features in Windows Vista"

I really don't want to get XP if they now have a new OS out there.

Anyway, is it important for me to try to cancel the order & wait 6 more months? Or should I just go ahead with it now that it's March?

My uncle needs a complete well translated lesson to Spanish. The CD is a lesson about "construction" and he would like a translation (the audio) from English to Spanish. Is there such program that can do this? If not, are there any website that I can pay so they can translate English Audio --> Spanish Audio? Please help, this is urgent! :)

The audio plays perfectly as I have the presentation set up, however, when forwarded to e-mail recipients, it says that the audio is only available via network. How do I ensure that the audio is available to be played along with the presentation independent of a network?
