Software - March 2007

When I click onto links on some sites,I keep getting the message....'Runtime error....do you wish to debug yes/no'

If I cick yes...I get a page full of nonsense and nothing happens
If I click no..Nothing happens and I still don't get to see the link that I wanted to see.
It doesn't happen all the time...but it is really doing my crust in!

What caused this to happen in the first place?
Is there anyway I can stop this happening full stop?

but i can't seem to uninstall it. AVG FREE says that it is discontinued but on my window sercurity thing, it claims taht it is still up to date and crap. I went to add and remove programs but that does not seem to work. HELP please

I am using a Canon ZR 600 camcorder, and am interested in using it for a home films, and to teach myself about filmmaking and digital video editing. I learn software fairly quickly, but would prefer to start with something simple. Any details are appreciated, including what are the best/worst, costs, ease of interface, etc. Any help is appreciated, thanks!

And when I want to send a new email I click the new option in the top left hand corner of my screen.Then when that new email window pop ups I type in the first letter of the person that I want to send an email to. It also gives me a drop down menu of email address with this same initial.But there is an email in there that i have typed in wrong and I want to get rid of it without it popping up again when I type in this first initial.Any ideas Please

example- i could be playing on dominoes one day all is well then the next day a box pops up and says i need to download macromedia flesh player 8 so i go to the site to download and nothing happens it will not install for some reason i am a bit of a novice so please go gentle thankyou

I've heard lots about it but I've nnot used it as I'm not sure if it's illegal. I'm not going to share any of my music and I don't care about the viruses, I'll use my computer that has lots on already. As I'm using it just for me and not giving music to anyone else is it legal?

ok this will be quick and painless.well i installed windows media player 11, because it popped up while windows media player 10 said theres an update for that. and so i installed the update, and than after i used it a couple times, it wouldn't open any more and than i uninstalled it, and reinstalled it, than it wouldn't do anything no mater how many times i clicked on it, and than i uninstalled it again, and along with the updates, and so now i'm at the point of a roll back to windows media player 10, and than i go to open it, and than it says "an internal application error has occurred" and than i uninstall it again, and than it should be at windows media player 9, and i go to the add/remove programs, and it doesn't show windows media player, and so i installed it again (windows media player 10) and nothing still says error.oh and when i first had the windows media player 11 working, it wouldn't work with internet videos, so i need to know everything i can do please and thank you!

i'm just curious, is there such a thing or software which can make my computer stop charging when it reach it peak, i mean a 100% and then when the battery discharge reaches 10% or 15% battery life or knew my computer is in critical battery state, it automatically recharges over again, because i heard that's it not good that the charger is always connected and i'm not aware if i already reach a100% battery life.

The screen with the file freezes while the other screens work fine... then after 20 seconds hard disk starts processing and the file opens normally...i have disk defragmented, repaired registry, used anti-spywares, anti-malwares, anti-viruses, anything that can be thought of, virtually. no go... Is there anyway that this can be solved? or reformatting is the only solution?
