Windows Media Player PROBLEMS...Please Help ASAP!!!!!?

ok this will be quick and painless.well i installed windows media player 11, because it popped up while windows media player 10 said theres an update for that. and so i installed the update, and than after i used it a couple times, it wouldn't open any more and than i uninstalled it, and reinstalled it, than it wouldn't do anything no mater how many times i clicked on it, and than i uninstalled it again, and along with the updates, and so now i'm at the point of a roll back to windows media player 10, and than i go to open it, and than it says "an internal application error has occurred" and than i uninstall it again, and than it should be at windows media player 9, and i go to the add/remove programs, and it doesn't show windows media player, and so i installed it again (windows media player 10) and nothing still says error.oh and when i first had the windows media player 11 working, it wouldn't work with internet videos, so i need to know everything i can do please and thank you!

If you want to get rid of windows media player, so you can reinstall media player 10.

Uninstall media player, then do a search for windows media player delete what you find.

Then click start/Run in the run window type regedit. clean media player out of your registry. When searching in the registry be sure all the HKEYS are pulled up, then click edit and type windows media player in the window, then click find now and delete what it finds, press F3 to continue with the search. once you have cleaned media player out, you will be able to install windows media play 10 again

My little cousin became on my pc faster or later, and apparently she one way or the different downloaded QuickTime onto my pc without even understanding it. Everytime i tried to hearken to mp3's or watch mpg's, the Quicktime participant kept capturing up quite of living house windows Media participant. So all I did became flow to regulate Panel, then I uninstalled the Quicktime application from my pc. yet in case you want to save Quicktime quite of uninstalling it, then i have self belief you are able to open up your living house windows Media participant and set it as your default participant.
