I had that same problem for days, after visiting the Adobe web site, "forum" and reading hundreds of others having the same issue, and no one seemed to have an answer........I tried reinstalling, clearing flash player history, nothing worked......

I eventually had to install firefox just so I could visit some web sites, I havent used internet explorer since.........If you want to check it out I will include the links....

If you do install this browser, you will also need this add on after installing the browser. Some pages cant be rendered by firefox, but with this add on you can make a web page work as if it would in ie.....

I know this doesnt fix the problem, but I searched for an answer for days and couldnt find one, so, hope you have some luck!

The most recent version of macromedia player is 9, so you have to go to the macromedia website and download the 9 version, if it is not automatically downloaded then you'll have to follow some link with your mouse pointer.

I've had the same problem before so here's what to do... go to my computer, then go to C drive, then go to windows, then look for a folder called system32, then look for the folder that says Macromed(it should only be about 5 to 6 lines down), then go to the folder that says flash, then go to the button that says FlashUtil9b... click that and do the update then restart your computer and it will work for you :)
