I've heard lots about it but I've nnot used it as I'm not sure if it's illegal. I'm not going to share any of my music and I don't care about the viruses, I'll use my computer that has lots on already. As I'm using it just for me and not giving music to anyone else is it legal?

Limewire itself is not illegal, what you do with it can be illegal. If you use Limewire to download music, videos, software, etc that you do not own a legal copy of or that is free, then that is illegal. It is not illegal to own a gun, it is illegal to shot someone without a legitimate reason, self defense.

limewire is NOT by any means illegal.
There are millions and tens of millions of people using limewire right now. Everytime you download a copyrighted material, its illegal.... but they can't prosecute everybody that does. So go use away, and dont worry about a damn thing... i promisse :)
also if your going to be downloadin large movies and things like that, go download either BITTORRENT or BITCOMET. Here you can download full movies, tv shows and everything imaginable. make sure you dont download full lenght movies ;)

Limewire is not illegal unless you are downloading copyright material (Either movie, video, or music).
As long as you are careful about what you download, you shouldn't have any problems.

The Software is Legal, but copying copyrighted material is not.
