Why is it that these pages are full of niggling software problems and every office of any size needs a full time specialist to sort out problems, when hardware makes one breathtaking advance after another?

Okay, I have this program that I can not uninstall no matter what I do. It's called themida. I installed norton anti-virus 2007 on my computer few days ago, and that's when themida started to show up everytime when I restart my computer. So, I uninstalled Norton, but Themida still stayed in my computer. Add/remove programs doesn't have themida listed in there. I tried to delete it off from registry, but didn't work either. I also tried to restore my system to last week, and for some reason, the restoration could not be completed... which had NEVER happened before. Can anybody pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeease help me and uninstall this?? It's driving me insane. thanks!!!!!! Oh, i'm using VAIO windows XP professional
