okay heres the deal, my windows media player 11 works great except when it comes to dvds. it plays video, but no sound. i mean when i play video thats not a dvd, it plays both audio and video. i dont no whats goin on, is windows media player bad? also, my sound card is Realtek Avrac AC '97. and whats the deal with these codecs things? please help, im desperate. all helpful answers will be appreciated... :-D -peace

I got problem when i go to the user account and i want to change the way log on and log off but everytime i trying to change they say "Clinet Servis for NetWare has disable the welcome screen and fast User Switching. To restore this future please unistall Client Servis for NetWare" how to uninstall it,? i already try at add and remove software but there no words of Client Servis for NetWare. and i found this application on control panel, i right click but there only got open and create shortcut.

If I was to purchase a version of Mac OS Tiger, and try to install it on a computer that wasn't built by Apple, would the operating system still work? Also, would there be any errors with the software; or incompatiblities with the hardware? Next, are there any laws by Apple saying that you just can't use Mac OS with a computer not made by them? So I have installed Windows Vista Ultimate on my PC, and prior to this installation, I used Windows XP SP2 - and was able to use mIRC just fine. I used to be able to click on IRC links from within Microsoft IE 7, and it would spawn mIRC and connect to the appropriate server and room.

I wiped my machine clean, and did a completely fresh install with Vista Ultimate, and since getting everything all setup ( including mIRC ), IRC links no longer work from inside IE. When I click an IRC link from within IE now, it throws an error stating it can't locate the URL, and then another error saying it can't open the proper helper application.

Does anyone know how to enable this?

hi i was just wondering.. is window a operating system or a software? what is the definition of a software, and would Linux, Mac OS, and Windows ( ME, VISTA, XP....) be operating systems?

I use FL Studio and if you do too, you notice how it has it's own sort of window system, and has it's own title bar that makes it hard to manage.

The problem is, the entire program window got moved up off of my screen and out of the reach of the cursor, so I can't get it back in my window's view.

Does anyone Know how to fix it?

I downloaded the blue screen of death screen saver from Microsoft (with a practical joke in mind), but I cannot figure out how to install it as a screen saver on my Windows XP. Does anyone know how do this?

Every time I try to watch a downloaded video from limewire.. I get the same girl dancing and stripping. It is really annoying..waiting for a video to download all night just to see the same girl dancing on my screen!

I was trying to download java to my computer and I got an error 1722 because my windows installer can't open the package, so I don't know what else to do. i tried unregistering it and registering it, downloading it in safe mode, and so on.. so is anyone familiar on how to resolve an issue with windows installer? Help!!!

It says "installed drivers" beside it. It is bizarre; I even removed the prog.with the "add/remove thingy(technical term)... It just sits there, doing NOTHING except irritate me. I had to put my taskbar on autohide so's I didn't have to look at it. I'm not obsessing yet.......
