I have an IBM laptop with Windows XP SP2 as the OS. During the last few days, I have received a few messages in my email from Sun microsystems saying that Solaris 10 is world's latest, best and absolutely free OS and works well with IBM computers. Is Solaris 10 really better than Windows XP SP2? Should I think of installing Solaris 10 or should I just stick with my current OS?

My AVG anti-virus automatically deleted my autorun.vbs & autorun.bat when a virus was detected. The virus that affected those two were the Trojan horse Small.2.AA and Trojan horse small.2.Z. How can i re-install autorun.vbs and autorun.bat so that i can open my drive C? It affected some files from C:\System Volume Information\_restore... Please help me, thank you.

When I tried installing IE7 on my laptop, the installation wizard asked me to temporarily disable all the anti-virus and security software because they may cause installation problem. I have AVG anti-virus and AdAware software on my laptop but I don't know how to temporarily disable them. Is it necessary to disable them while installing IE7 or can it be installed without doing this. If its necessary to temporarily disable them, please tell me how to do it.

Does anyone like this more than version 9?

I find it clumsy, difficult to put in a random list, and all around visually disgusting.

Hi,
I know ASP 3.0 and I recently installed Visual Studio 2005 which is automatically installed .NET Frame works 2.0.

My Question is :

Can I Run ASP. 1.1 based application? Beacuse I know Only ASP.net 1.1 based programming not 2.0.

Or Is there new Improvement on Classic ASP 3 is there any books for this ?

If I need ASP.net framework to run asp.net 1.0 based application what I have to do?

Please answer this question very clearly so that I can start implimenting.

I was wondering if there was a program out there that allows you to track your email messages? I know with certain programs you can set a notice so you know if they opened them, but I wanted to know if you can find out if they opened the email as well as who they fowarded it to, and who those people fowarded it to...

I downloaded CCleaner today to clean some junk off my computer. I did a registry clean and and saved a backup reg file. I relised afterwards that a large number of my programs stopped working and " Program not found" messages popped up. When i try to restore them with my backup reg file called (cc_20061229_2032) an error pops up saying "The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000005). Click OK to terminate the application." I've tried the reg file over and over but it still wont work.I am an administrator of the computer but not the owner. Can anyone tell me how to restore my programs. My microsoft offic 2000 Pro was removed and i dont have the CD. Please tell me what i can do!
