I downloaded CCleaner today to clean some junk off my computer. I did a registry clean and and saved a backup reg file. I relised afterwards that a large number of my programs stopped working and " Program not found" messages popped up. When i try to restore them with my backup reg file called (cc_20061229_2032) an error pops up saying "The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000005). Click OK to terminate the application." I've tried the reg file over and over but it still wont work.I am an administrator of the computer but not the owner. Can anyone tell me how to restore my programs. My microsoft offic 2000 Pro was removed and i dont have the CD. Please tell me what i can do!

I've tried to do a system restore already and it said that it couldnt be completed because nothing had been changed. And The office icons ( ie. Microsoft Word) are still there and when i click them they ask for the cd.

Shut down, reboot in safe mode and use system restore.

Well, the bad thing is that there nothing you can do if the office suite is removed from your computer. Then the weird thing is that, did you read the software's manual? It wouldn't delete any office suite software in the first place. I think, you've got in this time. Try to tell the onwer about this and start thinking about re-installing the suite.
