What hardware & software do I need to convert vhs to dvd?I live in Rep of Ireland. Where can I get the software & hardware that I need?

Hi think this may be a bit of a no no subject my a friend of mine has just bought a new pc with dvd burner on it.
He would like to copy a few of his childrens dvds as he is divorced and the children come round every week having to bring there dvds with them, so he would like to copy them so they dont need to bring them with them every week/
but they are all protected, any way of easy coping them?

hi, i have downloaded a movie file, type of .wmv. i'm using realplayer 10 and media player 6.4.......but that file(.wmv) is not opening on both media and real player....pls guide me...wat to do?

limewire was my 1st p2p and so far the best p2p program for me
bearshare is a lot simpler than bittorent,frostwire or any of those other p2p programs
but i now have problems with both
limewire=i cant download anymore then again i have never shared anything and a few guys told me thats the problem
bearshare=i am not sure if its done downloading or not and if its finish how do i check and after its all done how do i download

well i'm pretty sure ill get answers for both but can you guys tell me wich one is safer and better???

P.S i dont know much bout pc so explain in great detail please

Im from Philippines i have my own cd of roseonline and i downloaded all patches and install it but still it did'nt work ..
It say "cannot check the latest versions."...

The clock I was using started freezing, so I deleted thinking that I could just reinstall. The search for rainbow clock screensaver did not come up with the version I liked. Please help me get the analog clock that makes the numbers change in rainbow colors as it moves around my screen.

I know that scaling up jpegs creates a blocky image. I've also heard that there are programs which can make a good guess at the missing data to avoid as much "blockiness" as possible.

I'm looking for a free one as this is a one off problem.

This file was shown by Window Task Manager during a Control-Alt-Delete shutdown when system froze. Window's search could not find this file (all hidden folders, files searched). Is this a virus, spyware, worm????
