I want to learn a 3d package on a mac.

I have used 3d studio max a little before.

I was just wondering if you could recommend me a package for mac os that is regularly used in the industry.

every time i i shutdown or leave my pc alone for a few hrs i have to reinstall media plaer 10. would try to play a video and it would play sound but would not play the pic

I know how to link the webpage to excel (data/import external data/new web query) , but this particular data is timestamped, and i'd like to keep a history of it for graphing purposes. Thanks in advance.

Is it possible to remove context menu items from outlook using a group policy or even just doing it individually?

The catch is that it only needs to take effect on tasks leaving all options there for everything else (the option i need to remove it delete)
Alternativly does anyone know how to remove the 'mark as complete and delete item' option from tasks in outlook?

Hi, my name is George Trinh. When I tried to open an e-mail account in Microsoft Outlook, Outlook asked me to fill in some infomation concerning POP3, IMAP, and SMTP. Would anyone out there please kindly explain to me what those three words mean; and what information I should fill in in order to be able to create an Outlook e-mail account correctly ? I have IE 6 on my Windows XP computer. Everytime I search for something on Yahoo, it saves the search, so that if I search for the same thing again, it automatically begins to fill in whatever I am trying to type. If I just click on the search bar, the whole list of anything I have ever searched for pops up. Is there any way to clear this list once and a while so it doesn't build up? I've tried to figure it out for the past 2 hours! First one to help me clear this stupid list gets 10 Points!

even in the audio settings the sound recording device option is unavailable and it says that no recording device is present....is some driver or software missing which needs to be installed??..from where can i get the required software to make my mic work again??the speakers are all working fine...does the sound card need to be updated??

I'm not talking about "going-back-to-a-certain-point" restore; I want to erase all data from my hard drive because I'm selling the computer. How can I do this without a system restore disc? I don't want anyone to access my personal files later by retrieving deleted files by using programs such as GoBack. Please help. I don't have the system restore CD. How can I protect myself? Thanks.

I see and read that IE7 is causing a lot of people problems? I had to download it cause it was one of my Important updates from WINDOWS UPDATE(High Priorities) So far i haven't seen any problems. Is it better to downlaod that version (IE7) from Windows Update site than the yahoo site? Maybe that's why alot of people are having problems? Can anyone tell me that i was right to download the IE7 from WINDOWS UPDATE (high priorities update?

I have a bunch of links I need to make from 75 similar files with different file names and information. I need to find a way to have excel use the values in one of my columns and plug them into the file path to take the information from the right file.

For example:

I need the actual file referenced for information to be taken from to be referenced from a cell in my file

='C:\Documents and Settings\[XXXXXXX.xls]Data'!$E$6

XXXXXX is a cell value, is this possible?

I installed WinXP serice pack on my PC but after installation i got system error that"some system files are corrupt and may need to install again" and required CD again. if i again install, it completed usccessfully but got the same error and after 2 days the setup become corrupt.
No if i m installing Professional-it trip the same error.
i have formatted my hard disk but all invain.
So plz suggest me solution.
