Yeah, as said before careful of copyright. However, I highly recommend using the torrent system. Lots of sites use it for various large files that primary internet downloading cannot handle. I recommend eithe Utorrent or BitLord for downloading, and www.mininova.org for your torrent files. See, what it is is that a torrent file is a file that contains the data so that the download program can find it's sources and can download the file. However, one downside is that there might not be enough peers avaliable and it could take several hours to complete depending on the size of the file. Also, there is more protection against viruses with this system as you can scan them before they are actually registered as complete, unlike when you use some download software such as Limewire.

I prefer eMule Plus...it works very well. It you are behind a router, you will need to forward ports.
