Reinstall it... but first uninstall than reinstall...
If this doesnt work back up your system to a time where u knew that it was working... if you Have Xp

you can uninstall and reinstall the program or you can go to the Microsoft site and download the missing file. I have a digital camera that required certain files to work with my computer and I could only get those files from the microsoft site. Most system files are free to download if you already have an ms office version.
