I installed WinXP serice pack on my PC but after installation i got system error that"some system files are corrupt and may need to install again" and required CD again. if i again install, it completed usccessfully but got the same error and after 2 days the setup become corrupt.
No if i m installing Professional-it trip the same error.
i have formatted my hard disk but all invain.
So plz suggest me solution.

The Service Pack that you are installing may be corrupt. Do a Clean format and installation of Windows XP and do not install the Service Pack. See whether, it works without any problem. If so then, download the Service Pack 2 from http://www.microsoft.com and install it again.

buddy that means you are using the pirated version of WINDOWS XP. You cant install service pack unless you have the orginal version

borrow a different cd rom drive to do the install and make sure your discs ar not scratched or dirty

Hello,

This error is not of windows xp service pack 2 , it is Hardware fault.

This Error is due your memory problem.

Please change your memory (RAM) .

I am sure it will work

Reinstall.
