I have only one user for Windows XP, called "Owner." No one else uses this computer, so there is only one user to select when I start the computer and Windows begins to load. How can I get Windows to skip the user select screen?

I just buy XP pro and install and registrate it on my old PC. Now I want to buy a new PC, but can I make the installation again, or will I during the installation get the message " This XP can only be installed on one PC"

my c drive is almost 80 % free, ram is 512 desktop is also not full off icon , and i have done defregmentation of my all drive , checked for virus also. but it get everytime get hanged so tell me what to do

Can I group those files so that they're both in 1 file and they both play at the same time? is the task possible to complete without downloading any additional software? (if not, please provide the link where i can download the hopefully free program). Finally, can I connect the two files without distorting the quality of the movie file and the music file? I created a Master Restore Disc for my Packard Bell Windows XP Computer. My computer was unresponsive and so I restored my PC. It took about tw hours. Now my computer takes an age to load windows and I cannot access my control panel, install new programs, run new programs or anything. About all I can do is log onto the internet and a few remedial things. This is really upsetting me as I do not know what to do. In my other posts I have posted the exact message I get when I try to do the above. Apart from a sentence of techincal jargon I get "memory cannot be "read"? How is this possible? If I do a destructive restore will it resolve all issues or will I be worse off by not being able to install any programs and not being able to access the www for help? If not how do i do a destructive restore. I had a deadline for Monday and I cannot complete it because I cannot download pdf files as my computer wont let me run adobe or other programs. I can install them but not run them. "read memory"

when i click to play the song this is what i get :

Laptop running XP home. Ran uninstaller, says can't find file. although the programs works with no problem, (?) so want to completely remove. now asks for CDrom, (long gone..) so want to completely get it off my Laptop. (going to use open office instead)

I recently had to restore my Windows XP Computer using the Master CD I had created. I restored my XP Computer and now it is very slow to load. I can also not install or run new programs and when I try to install programs such as Adobe Acrobat, Internet Explorer 7 or any software I get the error message "
The instruction at "0 times symbol 00000000" referenced memory at " 0 times symbol 00000000". The memory could not be "read". Click OK to terminate program. I am really worried as I have deadlines to meet and I cannot install new software, create administarttors, delete cache etc
What on earth has gone wrong? Please Help me

Hi all,
My mouse right click is not working whenever i click on zip files or winrar files in order to extract files. Jus a few days back a friend of mine had modified some keys in the registry. I dunno wat he has done with dem but right from the next day dey r not opening. Pls help me anyone.

1. i dont have the original setup disc because the PC is like 8 yrs old.
2. it gets past the BIOS but gives me this message trying to load windows.
3. i have tried to find a way to format the HDD but i cant find any.
