I just buy XP pro and install and registrate it on my old PC. Now I want to buy a new PC, but can I make the installation again, or will I during the installation get the message " This XP can only be installed on one PC"
Can I registrate it in my same name again or what ?

When installing XP on the old, then it displayed on the screen, that it was possible if I get a new PC to transfer all the data to this new PC......but is that wrong?

If you get a copy of the antiWPA patch you should have no problems what so ever...I used it over 12mnths ago to register XP on a second PC after i had to scrub the original version off the hidden partition (long story, don't ask). In all that time, Windows update has not picked it up once :)

You'll have to search for it yourself though (or email me) as I won't post the info here

If you bought the RETAIL version of XP Pro (as in purchased it in a retail store), you can install it on your new PC, BUT it can be installed on only one machine.

As long as the version you purchased isn't an OEM version (that's where you just get the CD, but no manuals) - you shouldn't have any problem. Worst case if that Microsoft might have you call them to activate it on the new machine, but you should be fine since it is the retail version.
