Hi all,
My mouse right click is not working whenever i click on zip files or winrar files in order to extract files. Jus a few days back a friend of mine had modified some keys in the registry. I dunno wat he has done with dem but right from the next day dey r not opening. Pls help me anyone.

Note: I wud like to mention one thing right click is working for alllll other kinds of files except zip files

You could try reinstalling whatever you are using for extracting these files but if your guess is right that your friends has being playing around in registery and he/she didn't make a backup before they started to delete things then they are not a good friend to let near your pc again.

1.Go to control Panel...
Click on start-> control Panel.
2. Double click on option MOUSE.
3. Under the Buttons tab, all the options should be unchecked. (Button configuration, ClickLock )

If its a Dell system, go to Start-> all Programs -> Accessories->System Tools -> Click on System restore
Click "next" on first screen of System Restore and select the date bfr which your friend had made changes to the registry.
Then Follow the instructions....

Reinstall the winzip and winrar application. This will change the effect taht your friend ahs done while modifying the registry.

Undo what your friend did. If it was a software change you can do a restore on your computer to put it back to the same environment it before your 'friend' changed it. Then tell your friend never touch my puter again good buddie

try system restore if you r using XP, or call your friend maybe he test some bugs

i think the inside part of ur mouse has rusted.i would be fine if you change ur mouse.
