Laptop running XP home. Ran uninstaller, says can't find file. although the programs works with no problem, (?) so want to completely remove. now asks for CDrom, (long gone..) so want to completely get it off my Laptop. (going to use open office instead)

you need to get the cd rom or hack the regristry

You then may need to clear by using a fragmentor type programme like Norton Utilities, if you have a utilities programme it may clear it all in the first place.

u need to find some where 'uninstall ms office' on the pro.

Best way would be to format the whole computer. it is easier than looking for the file in your hard disk.

Try search ,click ,click on start,you will find it there,or add/remove, in control panel
