my pc search engine doesnt work.also my windows media player(wmp).it doesnt show some of website's details(for example when i start yahoo answer it doesnt show the part"categorize the guestion"& "post guestion".i checked it for viruses,trojans etc.& it doent have any of them.i reinstall the wmp & internet explorer(ie)but not changed.my windows is geniune & sp1.when i want to download servise pack2 ,it doesnt show the page.also i setup addon but it isnot in tools.please help me.i am really confused...

I heard bit torrent is a really good dwl program but I dont know how to use it...I thought I was dwling sumthing but I could never preview it? If anybody could shed some light on this program and where to dwl that will be much appreciated! Thank you

My friend's got it such that a little notification appears in his system tray when he gets new e-mail from Thunderbird, without Thunderbird actually being open on the taskbar or anything. How do you configure this? I can't find the option anywhere.

I just got more memory for my computer, a lot more. Whenever I try to play The Sims, it lets me play for about 5-10 minutes and then shuts right off. It's really frustrating, especially if I haven't saved. Did I do something wrong when putting on the memory for my computer?

I don't need a wysiwyg editor, I can code by hand, but like something like Homesite where you can use keyboard shortcuts to input some tags, and will also close your tags for you. Which one should I go with? I tried coffeecup and it was horrible. EditPlus is not freeware. Notepad is too tedious.

I just bought a new laptop and desktop.
Loaded all of my software in laptop and when booting I get an error message.
Seems to come from missing HP files.
HP fix is to remove Paint and Reinstall.
Can't find Paint anywhere on Hard Drive.
It appears as program of choice to open up a JPG.
It is not in Ad/Remove Programs.
I never use it, so I won't miss it.
Error message is annoying.
What do I do?

it constantly shuts down, when i scan with AVG, spyware doctor etc they all say no viruses are found. i also keep getting error messages.
