I've called many vendors, all are stating that they do not offer anything that will run/install under XP x64,, do any of you have a cam running under 64-bit.? if so what cam....?

So far 32-bit drivers have not worked, and the vendors all states they do not have a supported CAM,,, so "nothing" works,, I find that quite odd!!

I'm not running a webcam or a 64 bit OS, but I know that something as advanced as a 64bit cam is rare and no commercial venders will carry something like that in stock. Anywhere.

Contact Microsoft and ask which webcam they recommend for a 64bit platform, but be aware they will likely either not know or quote a product outside your budget, given that this excellent software is still in development, thus hardware that runs it is scarce and probably still in experiemental stages of R&D. Be patient, stay alert for new innovations (such as attending the computers and technology expo in your region), do some networking with people working in development labs at Priceton or MIT, and lastly BE PATIENT!

Have you tried using the 32-bit driver, I would think that there would be some backwards compatability in windows for it, if not microsoft has fallen behind all of there compators in this aspect.
