I had a virus that was detected by my AVG free and after the scan I put it in the virus vault. Does that get rid of it? I am now having all kids of pop up every time I go on the Internet. The are constant. Do I have Mal-ware. What do I do?

Saw someone in an answer talk about using this software...went and looked and thinking about buying it. But...on weekends son uses computer and even though I am Admin on XP I let him use my login for he never does anything but searches anyway. Will this affect him being able to use computer not knowing my TK8 password? I know it will save "my" passwords for my programs but will it affect anything else as to use on the internet surfing?
If put on the "lock" mode..what is happening then? stops any auto-filling? locks files? sorry seem so duhhh but what can I say.....am blonde and a female.....lmao

I scand top to bottom for spywear adwear graywear virus u name it i did it. but my computer is still really slow. its take over 10 minutes to download something that should take no more then a minute. even take about 2 minutes to load my home page that yahoo.

my computer is only 2 years old.

any help be great.

When my ex's hotmail email address was hacked, he somehow managed to get it back by using a series of secondary/alternative email addresses even though he never found out what the password or secret question was. Mine has now been hacked and I need to know how to do it-he won't tell me (I think his boss did it for him) any chance someone can talk me through it?

I'd be really grateful for a bit of advice. I have gone over to what is now Virgin broadband whiich is working OK and also at the same time decided (a bit reluctantly) that I would try a wireless internet connection. I think I have now got this set up but my machine refuses to connect to it because it is being stopped by my firewall. I have Norton installed and Microsoft Windows also seems to have its own firewall. Is there a wayu I can let my wireless connection through hilst preserving the protection of the firewall?
I assume there is or nobody would be able to have wireless! I have configured my wireless with a security password to stop other people using it, but at the moment I can't get to it either!

I changed my user accounts dont remember what the administraitor password is and I have no other admin. on my computer and I have no password reset disk, and No windows disk???????? What if anything can I do. I know what I changed the passcode too and it had a hint but its not working or offering me a hint??? Digital signature????Whats that and what do i do

I can,t get to my on line banking....After log on & password a page comes up and says ( session is over,may be caused by reloading or resizing your browser window ) I,m not sure if i did some thing cause, when igot my password in the mail it did this then, later on (a day ) it work and let me put in my own ,new password and open my account ..But now , It,s back to ( session closed again ) I must have to change the way pages are displayed or some thing but, i,m not sure..Help??
