nope all voip software is rubbish no matter how good your connection is. It is ok if you want to call pc to phone but trying to call pc to pc is just a waste of time and it will never work.
trust me I have tried it before with 2 pc's both having bt 8mb broadband they were only about 100 miles apart the the quality was awful it was incredibily jittery

I have found it to be reall good
I was a little sceptic at first and even had a friend that had been told the program would eat his computer....mmm
Anyway, when i finally got round to using it it as so much better than MSN and really easy to use. There is also an easy feature that lets you search and call anyone with Skype.
I did find that the reception was better ( I was calling 3000 miles away) if i didnt use the video too the whole way through, but either way it was great.
Give it a try, you have nothing to lose ( i assure you it doesnt eat your computer)

Skype works very well, I use it to talk to my friends in England ( I live in Switzerland ) I use it to phone my mother on her land line as she is 80 and does not have a computer, of coarse you get a few hick ups from time to time but in general it is good and it is free if you are phoning PC to PC, I recommend Skype, just down load it, try it, and if you don't like it you can always un install, it does not cost you anything for the trouble.

You can download it from skype.com then follow the step by step instructions. It will be helpful to have your credit card ready by you as you will have to pay £10 in advance to pay for calls made by you to phone to people who don't have Skype. The calls to those using it you pay nothing, as many calls as you wish to anywhere in the world. So I 'd say it's good.

don't rely on it. if something doesn't work, there is almost support, no person or direct email to get help. you only get form after form to fill out, sometimes the same questions get asked of you. it said I'll get an answer in 72 hours. check out their own blogs ... search for "account suspended". it can suddenly suspend your account, but can't suddenly un-suspended it.

Please, DON'T!
Why? Because it will kill your PC, your router / modem, eat up your monthly download allowance WITHOUT you doing anything!
Don't say I didn't warn you...
