Is it possible that you have this program and able to track anyone hacking into the accounts of your friends in your mailing list?

Telnet: remote login through a text window. Most people never touch it, but it's available on nearly any computer.
Its not recommened to sue it becuse its not a safe to use.

If you suspect you are hacked do a scan with:superanispyware (free)
http://www.superantispyware.com/
and avg free
http://free.grisoft.com/
then change all passwords on your pc
this 3 steps will do it.

using telnet for this is possible with other programs but
only recommended if you really know what you are doing.
