Just curious as to why yahoo seems to be posting a notification about recording all IP's everywhere as though they were trying to make a point about something ?

Requirec by law for them to notify you should they wish to keep your IP address on record. If you object, don't use the site, but if you abuse their Terms of Service, etc, they can take legal action, and bel;ieve me it's traceable - I've traced several troublemakeers on my forum back to their ISP's and given the details to them, we discivered who it was, they got their ISP account banned and were added to a blacklist (they were posting pornography when it was clearly stated it would not be tolerated). Consequences to actions, folks.

It means you cannot be anonymous, by making a note of what IP did what at which time, it is possible to go to your ISP and find out who you are should you do something illegal.
