so basically im retarded. and i was messing around with my computer i somehow hid the file so that it was password protected and i know the password just not how to get to the folder?? HELP MEEE.

Go to search, type in the name of the file. If it doesn't show... go to advanced search, click on search for hiden folders and search for the name of the folder that way.

well do you know where you hid it, in other words did you hide it by making it disappear or by moving it to a place that you don't know where it is. do you know the name of the folder, why don't you use search to locate it. if you hid it by making it disappear then open any folder then on the tools tab click on folder options then go to the tab view then click where it says 'show hidden files and folders' after click ok. your hidden folders and files will be visible. then just find where you had your folder.

Open a folder, like my archives, or maybe locate your computer. Press the alt key to get the menus and click on procedures, folder thoughts, view and choose practice hidden information and folders, then click follow and ok. as an instance it back off bypass to a similar position and click the different decision to hide them.
