start/run/ put in cmd in the text box/click OK

MS Dos screen opens

type in- ipconfig /all and hit enter

find the Default Gateway IP address- 192.168.0.1(something like that) For The Wireless Local Area Connection.

Open IE and erase the address bar, type in the Default Gateway IP address and hit the go button.

You will get a log in prompt from your router and must know the username/pwd to get in.

The routers are all different but you should be able to find them in the wireless settings area. Don't change them or you will drop your connection!

Best advice is to keep them written down somewhere safe like a notebook stored with your extra computer parts and cables.

you need to connect to your Wireless Access Point to find the WEP key in clear text. Most client systems mask the key.
