it does`nt appear in prgram list either,i now get it free with bt so i must remove the old version, please help thank you.Its norton anti virus & norton internet security 2004.

I dont use yahoo messenger always so I cant be noticed when my friends are being online & when they are being offline. So is there any way to do so that it will record when my friends will be online & when they will go offline & it will show me when I will be online. Is it possible please help me.

I have already updated and run AVG free, AD Aware,Spywareblaster and Spybot Search and Destroy. It is connected to a program called WinAce that I downloaded but have subsequently uninstalled and deleted but AVG can still see it but looks like it can't do anything about it. Any help would be appreciated. THANKS

Ok, I've done an adware scan, and destroy, a spyware scan and destroy, I use a firewall, but I got these pop ups that no program has gotten rid of. They pop up under iexplorer.exe in my task manager processes and when I end the process, it takes any IE window away, even ones I'm working with. Best I can figure, they start with a win antivirus window wanting me to download it and when I close the window, the pop ups begin. When I end the iexplorer.exe process, the win antivirus window pops up starting the cycle all over. What can I do about these? They knock me out of my favorite games and block my view of the whole screen sometimes. Please Help!!!

i have trned micro internet security with adaware spybot and windows defender. and im using firefox. yesterday i installed yahoo toolbarw/antispy and it said it found a trojan and trend micro didnt. is it real or is it just a false positive? also if it is real did it remove it if it said it did?

I keep getting pop-up and i think my comp is infected and i always get something in my icon box with, you have certain virus and some things jus come out of no where and says your computer has a history of adult sites and tells you to download virus scanner things.

I find pop3 port (110) and port 25 are open in my Debian/Linux server.I don't want them and want to block or delete them.I set "DROP" in iptables but it doesn't work.I delete exim4.

I recently had a bout with some spyware that was a particular pain. There were tcp ports being scanned and somehow mirc had been downloaded. (I've heard of it but don't use it). There were some very odd things about it. Like it did not have a sys tray icon nor was it in any other menus and the folder containing mirc.exe was something like DCFSOFKSLJMDSURKJSLFJESREDYUPDKMTGLODSDSKITRWRFTRPDFYOHGVLTG ... if you get the picture. So I'm wondering if this has ever happened to anyone else and is there a way to ensure that my system is clean?

I reciently downloaded a hardcopy of "Windows Live One Care"..and since..it has shut down completely. I cannot open it without recieving the gray window that informs me that it has to close and to send Microsoft a report. Thats ALL it does now. Worse..I cannot remove it. i have gone to "Add/delete programs..and I get the SAME gray screen when i try to delete it
Worse still..it is on RED warning..which means anti-virus updates arent being delivered and installed.
I want to delete the program and reinstall..does anyone know a backdoor way to do that?? Delete it.....and remember..I know what Im doing on a computer!! And does anyone know why it shut me out??

I need COMPLETE directions to do this.....Help!!

I have installed Windows xp then, updated my xp to windows xp with sp2. But, for some reason I had to format my C drive. and I installed windows xp from cd. Now, from, My computer>properties , it showed that I had windows xp. But, in control panel, those, sp1, sp2 hotfix are there. When I tried to update from microsoft update again after formatting C drive and installed windows xp, it doesnt recognize that I do not have sp2. Rather, it showed, i have already updated to sp2.
Now, should I remove,those,sp1,sp2 hotfix from add/remove program, and again update windows to sp2. Will it be possible to update to sp2 after deleting sp1,sp2 hotfix??
Please, help me on this matter.
