Frequently, that is an advertisement, and should be ignored..
With Yahoo, you have a popup blocker.. make sure it's set correctly, and, if you are using windows messenger, don't... when I shut off my windows messenger, I quit getting most of those things.

I had that on my computer. LEt me guess, it talks about winantiviruspro or something. Ok, this thing is called either a win32 virus, or more likely, it is a malicious program called Virtumonde. Virtumonde is really unique, since it has the symptoms of spyware, but has the immunity of a virus. Ok, look up winantivirus, or winfixer, pro, or virtumonde, on google. there should be this program called vundo. They talk about it on this forum called geeks something. They have the download for Vundo and talk you through the process. I can help you later, since I am at my sis's house. E-mail me if you are not successful, and I will help you in about a week, since thats when I will be home. ragriav@yahoo.com is my e-mail. I will send you more details in a bout a week.
Also, if you have adware SE, do a scan of your computer. It will come up with some options. Click to erase them, and the program will go to ''sleep'' mode. It won't bother you while the computer is on, but once you turn it off and back on again, the malicious program will become active again.

You've got a bad dose of malware Kid, so this is what you're gonna do ok?
1)Go online and download Ad aware 6.0 by Lavasoft- run it
2)Download Spybot Search & Destroy- run it
3)Download Spyware Blaster, and run it
Now, the nice thing about this software is that its pretty much free, the like donations but essentially they'll do it for free. Good Luck

The first thing I would do is run several good spyware checkers. Adaware by Lavasoft and Spybot Search and Destroy are two of my favorites.
Adaware can be found here: http://www.lavasoft.com
Spybot here: http://www.safer-networking.org
Download them, and run them one at a time (I run spybot first, as it will detect the items that Adaware has quarantined).
Make sure you update the definitions in each one before you run it.
Once this is done, then do a scan with your favorite AV client.
Another good way to help avoid spyware is to use a non-Internet Explorer browser, such as Firefox, or Opera.

I don't think it's possible for you to avoid this one. I believe they programmed this particular popup to open not as a "pop-up" but as a windows warning message.
I, also, have had this one come up even though I've had my popup blocker turned on. It is not due to what we may or may not have on our computers or due to a piece of spyware/malware, it's just the way they made the popup script.
