I reciently downloaded a hardcopy of "Windows Live One Care"..and since..it has shut down completely. I cannot open it without recieving the gray window that informs me that it has to close and to send Microsoft a report. Thats ALL it does now. Worse..I cannot remove it. i have gone to "Add/delete programs..and I get the SAME gray screen when i try to delete it
Worse still..it is on RED warning..which means anti-virus updates arent being delivered and installed.
I want to delete the program and reinstall..does anyone know a backdoor way to do that?? Delete it.....and remember..I know what Im doing on a computer!! And does anyone know why it shut me out??

I need COMPLETE directions to do this.....Help!!

I you recently downloaded it, then do a system restore. Restoer your computer back to when you did NOT have the program. It will get rid of it :)

1. Go to start
2. Go to programs or ALL PROGRAMS
3. Go to accesories
4. Go to system tools
5. Go to system restore

click next and go to a point when you DID NOT have windows live one care on your computer :)

Have you tried an advanced search for files and folders:

Start > search > all files and folders > type in Live One Care > Look In: My computer > more advanced options: check mark search hidden files and folders, search system folders and search subfolders. Run search, highlight and delete anything found with Live One Care in the title.

If you're comfortable editing the registry:

Start > run > type in regedit > click OK
When Registry Editor dialog box opens, use Ctrl + F to open the "Find" dialog box.
Type in Live One Care and click on Find Next
If a registry item is found click on delete and then confirm
Click function key F3 to "find next"
Continue to delete, confirm, F3 until you get "search finished"
