ok this may not make since but I u know when u go to control panel then you go to appearance and themes, then you go to appearance and you can select how your buttons work? like window xp buttons window media center buttons, and windows classic buttons. well I was deleting programs on my computer and i think I deleted somthing with that. becuase how I don't have the options of XP buttons or media center buttons I only have windows classic and thats ugly. SO CAN ANYBODY PLEASE TELL ME HOW I FIX THIS!

my computer just crashed and will not even turn on. I can't even go on safe mode (which was the only mode that would work)!! The computer did not come with a system restore and I do not plan on buying one anytime soon. Does anyone know how to save my computer?? Plz help...
p.s. If I do recover it, how can I erase EVERYTHING and then re-download Windows XP to have a sort of "new" computer?? Plz help.

I'm trying to use the Network wizard and "share this printer" to get my wireless laptop to communicate with the Dell printer which is attached to my Dell desktop. It wants me to create a 3.5" network disk. I don't own an old 3.5" floppy. How can I "share this printer"?

(My real question should be, "why can't you microsoft "geniuses" just make software that just works without the rest of us having to fight and fight with it for hours?)

uhh, I recently found an old pentium 3 based motherboard, and wanted to see if it'd boot (I know it used to run windows xp) anyways, I realised that I didn't have the old Harddrive it used to use, and it has no onboard video, so does anyone know how I can boot up with a agp card vga port if i'm booting for the first time w/o a harddrive with an os on it?

i have wireless internet on 1 of my computers. but recently i had to reinstall windows on it and now i cant get online. i dont know if the wirless hardware has an instalation cd because if it does the person i bought it from didnt give it to me. or i dont know if there is a way to turn the wirless hardware on or what. please help.

I am wanting to burn a video dvd but I had to convert the files to an iso image before I could burn the dvd. The files I was wanting to burn have a menu at the beginning like a normal video dvd but when it is an iso image that menu doesn't work. When playing the files on my computer everything works like it should and I really want to keep that quality. Is there a different way of burning video files so all the features, like the menu, will work when the files are burned to a dvd? If there is a way, what program could I use? I have CyberDVD Power2go which seems pretty crappy and more complicated than it needs to be and Deep Burner that only does iso images. Thanks.

Also... what folder do you go to to delete them, and is there anything you shouldn't delete?

Hey. Recently I have bought Nero 7 Ultra edition, so i could back up my favorite dvds. I installed it and all, but when i open it it doesnt have all of the dvd features. It is the full version, but my friend alos has the same version but he has more options that allow him to burn dvds. It looks like i have everything ecept the things ineed to burn dvds. At the moment my computer will only start 2 in 5 times I boot it, I turn it on, get the packard bell screen then nothing. Doesn't seem to be doing anything with the hard drive either, as the light for it never flashes when
