I'm trying to use the Network wizard and "share this printer" to get my wireless laptop to communicate with the Dell printer which is attached to my Dell desktop. It wants me to create a 3.5" network disk. I don't own an old 3.5" floppy. How can I "share this printer"?

(My real question should be, "why can't you microsoft "geniuses" just make software that just works without the rest of us having to fight and fight with it for hours?)

Thanks for responding but where is the box to check so that I can actually tell it that I don't need a floppy?

Tell it no, you don't need a network floppy. This is a holdover from the stone age. Now you might save settings on a thumb drive. ( I change WPA keys that way).
