Microsoft powerpoint file comatability (OSX and Windows)?

Question

I have powerpoint 2002 for windows. i also have powerpoint for OSX. Am i able to make a powerpoint presentation on my windows machine and have it import correctly on my work computer that has OSX?

simply put: yes.
but if they are different years check to make sure the fonts and stuff are compatible with both, i made that mistake and it was not fun.
