My c drive is almost full and my d drive is empty. How can I make windows put stuff into the d drive AUTOMATICALLY from now on instead of the c drive?

When you install a program, most likely It'll ask what folder to install it in. It's usually:
C:\Program Files\[Company Name]\[Program Name]
Just change the C to D!
(You can also change the folder names if you like)

Back up all your personal data files, Music and Videos to CD or DVD. Then, delete them and all unused programs.

If you still need more space, buy a huge new hard drive.

Normally the D: drive is your CD/DVD ROM drive unless you have more than one hard disk drive, so I assume that you have two hard disk drives, C: and D: and that your CD/DVD ROM drive is E:

If that is the case, you can merge the two drives so that they physically appear as one, and data will be stored on the empty drive as soon as the other is full.
