Can anybody tell me how to enable uPnP (Universal Plug N Play) in Windows XP? Or 98?????

there is a few console log files under /library was created these few days

each consumes 8GB harddisk space, can i delete them..?

I'm posting this for a friend because she can't get online now:
I accidentally clicked Log Off User when shutting down my other computer and when I turned it on this morning, it asked for user name and password. I typed in what I thought was my user name and I don't recall setting a password, but I can't get in. What can I do?

wen i try to change the file properties by going to tools and show hidden files andfolders ,those files come in to screen but when i try to change their properties by deactivating the hidden option
an error message comes like,AN ERROR OCCURED WHILE APPLYING ATTRIBUTES TO THE FILE.
someone please tell me how to solve this problem so that the hidden files can be restored like other ordinary existing files?

I am trying to view foodtv.com videos with this software and it seems to be very slow and buffering alot and I don't have any other software or windows open. Why is this? How can I fix this? If I cannot fix it what other software would be great and not buffer or not buffer as much? Thanks.

Why am i getting a bad picture when watching live screening on internet tv.
I never had this problem before but had to reinstall windows xp. now no matter what service i choose to watch , the picture is all pink and green. I can just about make out the characters specially when watching football. The pitch is pink .
Help me , , ive asked this before and got no replys , hoping to be luckier this time

I stupidly trusted someone I dont know and chose this persons answer as best. I asked how do I find the key code for a windowsxp pro serv.pk2 and I believed the person that told me to email him. I was given a key code and I believed it. I chose before I tried it and it was wrong. Is there a way to take back my choice?

After I click the buy now button I was taken to the "Confirm Your Purchase" page.


I have to specify the shipping cost. Then the continue to paypal button is invisible (unclickable)


I'm getting this warning:

Anyone know whats wrong? And how I can validate my payment? I've asked the seller he's quite confused too.

With blank DVD's what is the difference between ones with a + symbol on and ones with a - symbol, and does this bear any relevance to the symbols featured in the description of the hardware???

I bought an item from eBay last November. I sent a money order but seller claimed didn't receive payment. I reported it not received but seller again claimed no payment was gotten. Finally the post office sent me proof it was cashed,a photo copy front and back with persons signature. So how do I report it ?

I have iTunes on my desktop computer with all my songs on there. I uploaded iTunes onto my new laptop, but how do I trasfer the songs? Is it possible without burning them onto a cd? Because my burner is no longer working.

When I logon to XP Pro I enter my password and get all the desktop icons. But if I try to, for example, access Network Connections, it takes up to 2 minutes before the dialog appears. The system appears to be waiting for something before becoming fully operational. In Windows TAsk Manager I've noticed that under Users my username does not appear, until after the 2 minutes when the system comes to life. Can anyone advise?! Many thanks. .

I was downloading music on Frostwire and accidentally downloaded a file that I did not want. Now somehow there are 3 more unwanted files. I've tried to delete these files from my computer, but it won't let me. Anybody know why or how to get rid of them???? Please help. They're taking up a bunch of unnecessary space.

I got iTunes not too long after xmas and i got a few gift cards, so i redeemed them. I set up an account right. So now when i buy a song i type in my password and apple id, but lately it's been saying my id or password is invalid, even though i type it in right. I've tried to change both my id and my password but it stilll says somethings invalid. Help please!!!!
