I was downloading music on Frostwire and accidentally downloaded a file that I did not want. Now somehow there are 3 more unwanted files. I've tried to delete these files from my computer, but it won't let me. Anybody know why or how to get rid of them???? Please help. They're taking up a bunch of unnecessary space.

find a forum like geekstogo.com - majorgeek.com - mybleepingcomputer.com there are many more. they will help you get rid of it. The virus has a hidden file that cannot be normally deleted it recreates all viral files when you reboot. If you dont want to try these go to "panda activescan" . I really suggest a forum they are free and effective.

it should delete if you do this......go to where u find files and search for mp3 or whatever type of file, open it and delete then go in the music player and delete the names (sometimes the file is left in another folder and still on the computer somewhere) if you're on a network check shared files too

If you got it off of P2P, then try deleting it through the P2P, that is: if you got the file from a P2P, then you will probably have to go back into the P2P to delete/remove/uninstall it.

Try uninstalling it in safe mode - CLICK HERE FOR DIRECTIONS = http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/tsgeninfo.nsf/docid/2001052409420406

You should be able to do it from Safe Mode. Reboot your pc and while it's booting up, keep pressing the F8 key to get into safe mode. do a search for these files and you should be able to delete them.
