I don't understand why everyone is saying the daylight savings change will affect appointment times in Outlook. Won't an 11:00 appointment still be shown at 11:00? Why would the appointment times be changed?

But i know i did not send it, the mail said soup days and i certainly would remember if i had done this accidentley.but the email looks as if i have sent it to myslef.senders name has my email addy in it.How can i check who sent it in easy to understand terms.its a bit of a worry to be fair wonder if anyone can help please.

my nephews were messing around with my computer and they changed my log on password. To top things off they cant remember the password so now i cant log on. how can i fix this ??

well my office computer is not working, it wont go into the internet, it wont print, and the desktop theme was changed to classic... what i did was, i went to start, and then run, and then typed msconfig, and then clicked ok, and i accidentally went to the sevices tab and unchecked some of them, i forgot which ones though, and then i clicked ok, and when i restarted my computer, the theme was changed, the internet explorer would open but it says it doesnt have a connection, and i already called the DSL company and they told me everything is fine with the connection, and i already tried restoring the computer to an earlier time, but the earliest is saturday, and this happened on friday, and i already checked all of the boxes in the services tab, but it still wont work!!! please does anybody know how to fix this??? its really important i have all my work in that computer and i cant use it and im really gettin behind in my job, please i would very much appreciate it if somebody could help

A few weeks ago our comp started acting up (shutting down, not responding, etc.) We usually just reformat when this happens since we need to free up space anyways. When we did that this time, our computer froze several times during the reformating process, and when we finally got windows (xp) back up, the comp still did the same things that made us reformat in the first place. Plus it seemed the comp would freeze everytime we wanted to download any security programs (we usually get adaware and spybot plus avg). Even when we did get the programs, they would then say they couldn't run. We reformat again thinking we picked up a virus before we could get security, only when we got windows back this time, it was missing almost all of the built in programs (no accessories, etc.) and we keep getting a popup directing us to download software from an obviously viral site. We've scanned it for virus' with several different programs, but found nothing. Any ideas on what this is?

I have XP home installed, and yesterday the pc was fine. Now it will not load windows, & constantly tries to restart all the time. Trying to boot from the XP installation disk produced the message "windows cannot find a hard disk drive, make sure one is connected and switched on & try again. Installation is being terminated" or words to that effect. HELP, Please !!!

My husband was using the computer yesterday when he got a message window that said our computer had been infected by some kind of spyware. He went to the Microsoft website and downloaded a tool to check for viruses, that said that we weren't infected. Our Norton AntiVirus says we aren't infected, but the computer is running really slowly now. The screen that pops up says something like "PestControl" and has a ladybug on it. Has anyone seen this before? Anyone have any idea as to what I should do about this?? Hubby needs the computer for college.
