Get rid of the Norton!!!!! Use AVG or something similar!!!

Norton Firewall is blocking it. Go to control panel, click on security section, click on Windows Firewall. It will be off as Norton Firewall is on instead.Got to toolbar and click on exceptions. Go down to skype + click the box ok it + try that.

with any security protection like norton, u will always have a problem with firewall. go to internet option and make the security level to LOW or disable the firewall and then download skype. it should work

I Dont like Norton,It gives me similar problems.Try NOD33 it is much better.Good Luck
