I don't understand why everyone is saying the daylight savings change will affect appointment times in Outlook. Won't an 11:00 appointment still be shown at 11:00? Why would the appointment times be changed?

Usually, computers automatically adjust to daylight savings, so it's not a worry. However, America is adjusting to daylight savings three weeks early this year to save energy. However, this was kind of sudden, and many computers have not yet been adjusted to calculate daylight savings till the standard time clocks were supposed to actually adjust to daylight savings.

So in short: The clocks won't calculate daylights saving for another three weeks due to the new daylight saving time change of date.

Outlook may or may not understand that the time has been changed. It may still show up at 11:00, but if you're counting on an alarm to notify you, it might alert you at either 10 or 12 depending on which way the time changes. Just make sure you double check that outlook knows that the time changed, and which way!
