typically yes, but you have to remember that VOIP is a digital signal and if your fax machine is a totally analog machine it may have some issues. But there is a fix, there is a small devise called a digital to analog converter that plugs into a regular phone jack that will solve any issues about 90% of the time. You can find it at shops like Radio Shack.

I can only tell you about my usage of Vonage to send and receive faxes. Most of the time, it works great however there are times when there is a lot of network traffic that the fax machine will have to retry several times.

yes you can.. voip just means voice over ip.. just what it says.. means you can use voice with the ip your isp supplyed you.. i have road runner and i have a fax also.. it works fine.

most of the time it should work but in some cases it does not. try it and see it should unless it is blocked by your isp.
