any1 who knows abt disadvantage of compressing data in NTFS

takes time to acess it later.

disadvantage is that in the event of a windows crash you won;t be able t access the data untill you get windows reinstalled.....other than that i don;t know of any other than extra CPU cycles to compress/decompress the info...
