YOU WANT FAST PERFORMANCE YOU HAVE TO FORMAT YOUR COMPUTER AT LEAST MINIMALLY 8 TIMES BEFORE YOU INSTALL WINDOWS IF YOU WANT TO BE SURE EVERYTHING HAS BEEN ERASED!!! BECAUSE BELIEVE IT OR NOT THERE IS A SAY THAT WHAT YOU PU IN THE COMPUTER STAYS THERE PERMANENTLY!!! THAT"S WHY THERE IS LOTS OF PROGRAMS OUT THERE OFFERING TO RECOVER LOST DRIVES(PARTITIONS) and FILES YOU MAY HAVE FORGOTTEN TO BACK UP AFTER YOU FORMATTED YOUR COMPUTER!!!

AND IF YOU WANT YOUR COMPUTER TO RUN EXTREMELY FAST PERMANENTLY JUST GO TO THE FOLLOWING WEBSITE IT WILL TEACH YOU ALLOT MORE!

Both. Other factors also involved. specially the number of programs at Start up which you can reduce.

running these programs.
Lcleaner from http://www.585soft.com/LCleaner.asp.
AWC2Personal ( free program) from http://www.iobit.com
( use tools/memory cleaner
