What happens to my files and games after a system recovery? Do I have to uninstall my games first?

I have a Compaq Presario SR1620NX with an upgraded video card, RAM and power supply.

after system recovery u will loose all the data in the harddisk. u should have taken back up and then do this....

any how there is no way u can get the erased data. only thing is install all the games and softwares u need again and use

just by adding new components and or upgrading your pc wont remove your current files on your hard drive. only way they will be lost is if you remove them yourself or by formatting your hard drive.
