what exactly does 2mb broadband actually mean ?

i can have 2mb of what? this is never explained.

I have a program that I can watch tivi on my PC. I want to take some pictures while it is playing. Its graphics are just like Window Media Player. I tried to use Printscreen button on the keyboard to shoot, but it did not work. How can I take those pictures, please??

Since buying a new webcam, and installing it, I keep getting this damned message: "The USB phone is connected to yahoo messenger" I cannot get rid of this. This USB phone connection has destroyed my regular microphone connection to yahoo messenger. Can anyone please, tell me how to disconnect this USB phone from yahoo messenger? I also get this message when I log in to yahoo messenger: "The computer's audio output is already in use by another application". This apparently, is in association with this d....................ned message about some USB phone being connected to my yahoo messenger. Totally greatful for any0one who can assist. thankyou

I just bought a Intel Pentium 4, 512 MB, 200 GB with windows XP. I have Qwest DSL. I havnt put any downloads on it. It has Norton Security 2006 but it is sooo slow!!!! Is there anything I can do to make it faster. I just dont get why it is slow. Thanks in advance. :)

I was angry at my computer for lagginf so much while playing online. I hit the outside of the computer and I guess where i hit it one the other side inside of the computer I hit the prossesor. The whole computer went black and made a buzzing sound. Now when I turn on the computer the prossesor fan makes a noise like a rock stuck in a lawnmower. I turned off my computer twice and nothing was wrong now except the noise from the fan. When I turn on the computer it says hard disk failure. I wont start up now.

my server is ntl which is cable broadband. ive always preferred yahoo as my homepage and tool bar but a month ago for no reason my homepage changed to msn and i cant remove it or change it back to yahoo i contacted msn they told me to contact microsoft who told me to contact ie7 who told me to contact msn can some one help i only want yahoo back as my home page

I'm using a laptop, it's IBM's R51. I bought a bluetooth dongle, and I'm using Bluesoleil software. Drivers are all up and running, since I have absolutely no problem on my PC.

But on my laptop, whenever I turn the bluetooth on, my internet connection is out of order! In the taskbar, I can see it's still connected but there are no transfers, no incoming or outgoing; nothing. Bluetooth dongle works fine, I can transfer files with my mobile phone.

Is there anyway that I can turn bluetooth on, without preventing internet connection? What could be wrong? Any help is appreciated, thanks.
