i am using microsoft 2000. other gay delete some ducuments from my folder or change the parameter. now what can i do to stop this?

1. Be sure to remove other users from the "Administrators" group of your computer.

2. From the properties of the "My Documents" folder choose security and remove all other users with access to this folder, including "Everyone". Be sure to leave your user name in there! If you want to protect only one folder then do this exercise on that folder in your My Documents folder.

best way to secure your own documents would be getting a 1GB USB drive and save all your documents in your usb drive. There are USB drives that can be Password protected too. I do suggest getting at least 2 USB drives so you can back up your documents just incase one gets lost.
Windows does have some kind of protection in My documents folder where, one user cannot see another user's documents... but with administrator.. you can see it all.

Easier, ZIP the file with a password.
